User Experience Research For Theater Marquee

This was one of my first poster designs back when I worked in theater. I used typography and color to make impact and communicate heritage as a design strategy. Funny enough, it ended up in a this David Guetta music video. So technically the poster got over 258,159,308 views. To my knowledge there are no royalty checks. Maybe blockchain could help distribute a fraction of the profit to everyone with a materials agreement in videos in the future

This period of my career was marked by an autodidactic approach to learning about business and design through the understanding of marketing and user experience. A journey that would ultimately lead me to working on the board of AIGA Los Angeles. Also happy to say that the typographic direction I implemented 8 years ago as a result of my findings remains in use by my successors marketing yet another virtue of design, durability.
